Rebecca Duty

From Wilson Little Funeral Home:

Audia “Becky” (Duty) Arnold, age 62, of Norman, entered into the Kingdom of Heaven on Sunday, June 5, 2016, after a short battle with cancer. Becky was born on November 19th, 1953 at Tinker Air Force Base in Midwest City, Ok. She was the oldest of six children born to Wesley Archie Duty and Barbara Ann (Sweetman) Duty.
Becky grew up in Norman and graduated from Norman High School with the class of 1973. Four years later she joined the Oklahoma Army National Guard and obtained the rank of Sargent and proudly served her country for 20 years, retiring in 1997. Becky was employed at the Oklahoma Military Department for a number of years while serving in the Army National Guard. She later worked for the Lexington Public School system, where she retired in 2012.
Through the years, she lived in Purcell, Lexington and Norman. She was active member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Norman where she enjoyed helping with vacation bible school. Throughout her life Becky, was very talented in working with flowers, making flower arrangements for weddings and other special occasions. She also enjoyed singing Karaoke, going to drive in movies with her son and granddaughter, watching sci-fi movies, visiting with family and friends but most of all, she loved spending time with her son, Greg and granddaughter, Aislynn who were the lights of her life. Becky was known for doing whatever it took to be there for any family member that needed her, be it night or day.
