Gary C Blachly, 50, of Ft Smith, AR died Sept 5, 2005 in Arizona from injuries sustained in a car accident.

Gary was active in the Boy Scouts, attaining the rank of Eagle Scout.  He was a member of McFarlin Memorial United Methodist Church and active in MYF, having served a president.

Three children:  Guthrie, Tenessa and Melanie.

Death:  Sep. 5, 2005

NORMAN -- Memorial services for former Ardmore resident Gary C. Blachly, 50, Fort Smith, Ark., will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, 2005, at McFarlin Methodist Church in Norman. Born June 25, 1955, in Oklahoma City to Eben and Paulene Blachly, he died Sept. 5, 2005, following a vehicular accident in Arizona. He was preceded in death by his father and infant brother, Clark Dallas Blachly.

An Eagle Scout, he graduated from Norman High School in 1973 and was a member of First United Methodist Church, very active in Emmanus.

Family members remember Gary as the person that always lit up the room when he entered. He had a never ending amount of friends.

Survivors include a son Guthrie Blachly, Little Rock, Ark.; daughter, Tenessa Bagley and husband Justin, granddaughter, Brianna Bagley, all of Lindsay, and Melanie Blachly, Muskogee; his mother, Paulene Blachly, Norman; two sisters,, Susan Dobry and husband Glenn, Norman, and Gayle and husband Eric, Garland, Texas; four nephews, Tj, Joe and Kevin Cotrone and Danial Owens; and niece, Kimberly Owens.
