Leisa Bennett Obituary On January 25, 2024, Leisa Bennett, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend passed away from this life. She was 69 years old. Born Leisa Mae Brannon on December 4, 1954, she was the daughter of Jack and Leona Brannon.

Leisas caring nature and feisty spirit endeared her to all who were fortunate enough to know her. She delighted in listening to music, dancing, and expressing her creativity with her art. She was an especially talented painter and sketch artist. In her free time, Leisa enjoyed crocheting, playing Bingo, and playfully pestering her nieces, especially Kristina. Her grandchildren held a very special place in her heart, and she treasured the time she spent with them.

As we reflect on the life of Leisa Mae Bennett, let us remember her for the beautiful moments she shared, the love she bestowed upon her family, and her unwavering commitment to the things that brought her joy. She will be remembered fondly, always.

Preceding her in death are her mother, Leona Mae Brannon, father Jack Brannon, stepmother Bernice Brannon, sister Betty Purtell, and her grandson, Sebastian.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Robert Bennett Sr.; her children Jack Doherty, Aaron Doherty, Robert "Bobby" Bennett II, and Shannon Madden; four grandchildren, Rowdy Doherty, Ciliya Doherty-Madden, Jacob Doherty, and Alanna Bennett Haswell; along with her two sisters, LaDonna Curry, and Jackie Volpe, and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
