Linda Jeane Smith, 53, of Norman, Oklahoma, died Friday, April 25, 2008, in Norman, Oklahoma. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, April 29, 2008, at Fairview MaGuire Cemetery in Noble, Oklahoma, with Rev. Ken Huddleston officiating. A family visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM today at Havenbrook Funeral Home. Services are under the direction of Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman, Oklahoma.
Mrs. Smith was born November 28, 1954 in Norman, Oklahoma to John Eugene Jennings and Daveline Houghton Jennings. She later attended Norman Public Schools and married Tim Smith in 2001 in Norman, Oklahoma.
Linda was preceded in death by grandparents Luther and Onie Jennings, and Margaret Mae Houghton. She is survived by her father John Jennings, of Norman, OK, mother Daveline Jennings, of Norman, OK; husband Tim Smith, of Norman, OK; daughter Penny Pelkey, of Purcell, OK; sisters Debbie Wullich, and husband John, of Norman, OK, Brenda Ranchal and husband Ray, of Norman; grandchildren Travelle Pelkey, of Purcell, OK, and Aqueela Gardner, of Oklahoma City, OK. Linda is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and many nieces and nephews.
